I am

i  am the essence of life

see me dance to the tunes of time

as i grow in excellence in search of me

being guided by the elders’ tune

reaching for their ambrosiac food

that wisdom to grasp, to do all good.

yet entwined in me is an evil bound

hangs helplessly my head down

as i cross the path of the unrighteous throng

wisdom questions,

do you belong?

within me rages a turmoil clear

enchanted by both worlds

there is no fear

to stand aside is to participate

so alone stand i an empty slate.

painfully alone in this silence

reason begets its own question

would you dare make your decision clear?

laughed to scorn by a rebellion strong

this logic called wisdom is a two edged sword

bringing discernment of right and wrong

giving shape to character if found

understanding, is later more profound!
