Beautiful Dress

She bought a dress, well clad she was and off to work she went.

But then her brothers spoke about how her wear afflicted them.

They do not see, educated, employed maturity

For they are blinded by sexuality.

At forty in this nation yet, a woman cannot wear her mind.

Tell me, is this the dominance the Creator planned…?

That a woman be submitted to a mans’ every fancy?

It looks to be more like a jealousy, that these men seem as,

Gossiping women who are needy!

Did they think to partition the crimes which be-riddle their lands,

Or to help stabilize North Korea’s mad mind.

Are they not proud fathers to daughters who have broken the cycle of rejection,

Upholding their womanhood through all the affliction,

Of a confused and molested nation?

Think Oh ye men, of Allah’s grace and know that we are all equal within this race.

Humanity is not about sexuality but strive for excellence and divinity!
