My Dragon Dream

You won’t believe when I tell I have seen it smile.

The dragon in my dream, is the same one on the hill.

In my dreams it comes to me, it asks my wishes true

‘Make your wish with all kindness for mankind togetherness’.

At first, I the brave was scared and stiff to see my dragon dream ask this,

But deep within the reaches of my heart I know angels came as they wish

For why would a dragon want mans’ togetherness?

Then for a moment I thought of bliss, but not knowing is indeed foolishness,

So I thought again for wealth to all but that might be our great downfall.

I thought to have no poverty, no carbon footprint no polluted seas,

I thought I might ask that coltan be no more, so that there be no guerilla wars, no unfairly paid workers nor close to extinct gorillas.

What should I ask I heard me think, is there another way to grow our foods,

As it is known that GMOs are no good.

Should I ask that we go back in time, or go forward with the stupor of greed that all who are locked up for weed be free to plant it for their need.

I could not think what to ask and so my dragon dream did smile,

It said…, little one think again, for tomorrow night my magic may come to its end!
