As I opened my eyes to the light of a new day
My senses became tuned to the sounds displayed.
Parrots chirp as they pass on by,
Perhaps singing of the fields afar, with sweet tasting grain.
Kiskidees in cherry trees also sing, tweeting their lovely good mornings.
My ears are quickened by the happiest of bird sounds.
Stretched and rolled I too, broke into song.
For it’s a morn of another tropical sun.
