Part 2. Sweet Success

On the evening of the day before the start of camp, all the questions ran through

her thoughts.  Was anyone going to show up? How many children would she be

responsible for? Was she really capable of hosting a camp all on her own? Was her

partner ever going to help? And how was she going to do all the great stuff with her

ten month old baby?  The worst part was that her sister was unable to make it for

the opening and this really saddened her.  These thoughts weighed heavily on her

mind that night.  She was surprised that she slept at all. Probably the tiredness

was due to the decoration with her older daughter Sarah and niece

Christina.

Even though they stayed over that evening to help, they gave their own share of

work plus there were some small disagreements on how the crepe

paper decor and balloons should hang.  Their little squabble gave her a good

insight as to how she would be able to handle the children who attended should

any such situation arise.

She knew by then that her mind of steel had been set and there was no stopping

her.

Come what may she was ready.
