The Queen Died

Enthusiam, Attitude and anxiety

Ran their course through her veins.

She was going to transfer that three frame nuc today!

Once she had tried but they were mighty strong,

A crowned queen, to protect.,their patron song.

Hive tool in hand and smoker too,

She knew exactly what to do.

She smoked them in and all around.

Not one bothered her now, for they walked zigzag.

Smoker down, she now pried the cover.

With success, a smile hovered on the face and on her heart

Alas, she is doing this right!

Then noble ladies attacked with all their might

As the cover to their castle took its flight.

But as it came off to be,

There laid her Royal Majesty.

Quivering on a frame to the right.

The girl’s heart sank into midnight.

Was she rough, careless or insane.

Ah, yes, insane she felt… but

Vowed that day, it would never be again.
